Biography
Michael Moore has extensive experience both within and outside of academia. His field is international economics and finance, where he has written on the euro, microstructure, purchasing power parity and forward foreign exchange markets. During his time at Queen's Belfast, he relaunched management at the university and raised significant gifts from corporate donors. He also has career experience in central banking as well as in promoting Ireland as a location for inward investment. He was a panel member of the Ministerially appointed Independent Review of Northern Ireland Economic Policy. He has recently completed a year as a Visiting Professor at Harvard University.
